International Sales Manager

To be successful in this challenging position, you must have some years’ experience from project sales to international customers within at least one of the markets mentioned above. You will attract and secure new business by own sales initiatives and by utilizing and developing the network of sales agents in the designated area. As a part of the team you will also contribute to the future development of the company.

Key duties:
• International project sales within the Shipping, Navy/Coast Guard and Offshore markets.
• Full responsibility for sales activities and sales development in allocated area/portfolio
• Regularly meet existing and new clients to increase turnover and company’s presence
• Create and manage own sales pipeline
• Produce and follow up on quotations and budgetary project proposals
• Establish and maintain good relationships with existing and prospective key customers
• Manage and develop the sales agents under your responsibility
• Regularly report on market developments and activities

Qualifications:
• Relevant education within Sales / Marketing or Technical / Maritime field
• Min. 5 years’ experience in B2B project sales and/or sales management in related market
• A genuine understanding of successful selling points to ship owners and yards
• Proven track record in international sales with a proactive approach
• A good command of spoken and written English along with computer literacy is essential
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis
• Self-motivated and result oriented with good communication and negotiation skills
• Awareness of cultural challenges when conducting business in different markets
• Responsible, independent, determined and a good team player
